What time of year is best to visit the South Rim of the Grand Canyon?
Peak season to visit the Grand Canyon South Rim is in the summer from May through September. However, this is not the best time of year in regards to temperature. Spring (March- April) and Fall (October and early November) offer cooler temperatures, thinner crowds, and a more serene overall experience. Overall, the summer months are the most crowded time of the year. For a more private experience, visit the South Rim during the off-season.
